Which are the most GCSE heavy universities?

Oxford - Use percentage of A*s at GCSE (Ideal candiates will need close to 90% or above)

Birmingham - Usually require 7 A*s plus

Cardiff - Usually require 7 A*s plus

Other universities use it more holistically.

Help - I didn't do so well at GCSE, can I still apply for medicine?

What should I say if at interview they ask me which type of doctor I want to be (e.g. cardiologist, neurosurgeon)?

What is the role of research in medicine? Have you read any medical research recently; what was it?

How can I prepare for my medical school applications? MMI? UKCAT!?
