How should I talk about my work experience in my personal statement?

The key thing is to show, don't tell. Whatever work experience you have, it is important to demonstrate the key things you have learnt and how this links to your skills and suitability to becoming a doctor. Admission tutors rarely like reading lists so instead, reflect on the conversation you may have had with a patient or the behaviours you may observe from doctors and other healthcare professionals.
