How can I improve my exam technique?

The best way to improve your exam technique is to do past papers under timed conditions. Be strict with yourself and treat it like an actual exam. Then mark your own paper using the official mark scheme and annotate your exam paper when correcting. Questions tend to be repeated so remembering what the mark scheme is looking for is often helpful.
