How do I plan my coursework and where do I start?

I always found it useful to have the marking criteria next to me while I planned my coursework essay; it is vital to plan any essay before you start because as well as shaping your essay it helps you to brainstorm at the same time. I would outline each paragraph topic, have examples of liiterary analysis that will earn marks, make sure there are contextual points and make a checklist of key words that you will have to include in order to gain almost if not top marks. I wouldn't suggest that you write the introduction first as it will come easier to you when the main body of your essay is already coming together.
