  1. After certain phrases, which can be remembered by WEIRDO: -Wishes (Quiero que/ espero que) -Emotions (Me alegro que/ Me da pena que) -Impersonal expressions (Es importante que/ Es mal que) -Recommendations (Recomiendo que/ Sugiero que) -Doubt/Denial (Dudo que/ no creo que/ no estoy segura/ niego que) -Ojala - e.g. 'Ojala ganen el partido)

  2. After CUANDO when it refers to the future: -E.g. Cuando sea mayor/ Cuando vaya a Espana

  3. After a verb of wishing or wanting when another person is involved: -e.g. Quiero que vayas a la fiesta
