Antibiotics can be used to protect our bodies from pathogens: What is a pathogen?

Pathogen: any microorganism (bacteria or virus) that can cause disease. anything that has a 'path' to disease.

 I will explain that often the question gives a clue to the answer to the question. The question states antibiotics protect the body from pathogen so pathogens must be something that causes harm
