State two functions of membranes within cells

Membranes are largely used for the creation of optimum conditions. Membranes therefore keep the contents of organelles in isolation from the cytoplasm. Membranes may also be used to form transport vesicles from the golgi, proteasomes to degrade uneeded or damaged proteins. Transport within the golgi.
