NaOH + HCl --> ____ + ___

NaOH + HCl --> NaCl + H2O

This is a typical acid-base reaction. The general formula for these reactions are Acid + Base --> Salt + Water. The metal in the base and the non-metal in the acid react to form the salt and the remaining Hydrogen and Hydroxide (OH) group react to form water.
