what are the differences between mitosis and meiosis?

mitosis produces 2 diploid daughter cells whilst meiosis produces 4 haploid daughter cells

mitosis daughter cells are identical whilst for meiosis they are genetically different.

meiosis has two rounds of separation whilst mitosis has one.
