How do I find the gradient of a line?

The gradient is how much the x value changes when you change the y value by 1. We can find the gradient using 2 coordinates on a line. It is equal to (y1-y2)/(x1-x2) I would do an example on the board

How would you factorise x^2 + 4x + 4

A = {multiples of 5 between 14 and 26}. B = {odd numbers between 14 and 26}. List the members of A∪B and A∩B.

Solve the following set of simultaneous equations: 3x + 2y = 15 & 9x + 4y = 1

Expand and simplify: 5(x +y) + 3(4x-2y)
