Analyse how a text uses language to create meanings and representations

F - form

A - audience

R- representations

T - topic

P - purpose

Read through the whole text. Write a list of possible representations. Pick out quotes to back up each of these representations. Apply relevant grammatical terminology to each quote. 

Top level terminology- 

Sentence types (imperative, referential etc) , grammatical features (subordinate clauses, co ordination, use of pronouns), tenses (progressive/ continuous past, past perfect) 

Intro- FATP

PEEC chain- Point, evidence, explanation, context (FATP)

Concl- summary
