I am having trouble learning Mitosis, could you explain it for me please?

Mitosis is a form of asexual reproduction in plants. A parent cell splits into 2 identical daughter cells. There are 46 Chromosomes in each cell and each chromosome is copied exactly, using chromatids to pull the chromosomes apart and to two seperate sides of the cell (known as poles). This then seperates them and they become tow identical daughter cells, each with 46 identical chromosomes in. This process only happens in asexual reproduction and occurs so the plant can grow and repair its cells, also ensuring that the cells of the plant do not grow too large.
