Integrate y=x^2 between the limits x=3 and x=1

Integrate y=x^2 which is 1/3 x^3 Subsitute the limits, (1/3 (3)^3)-(1/3 (1)^3) 27/3 - 1/3 = 26/3

Given y=x^2(1+4x)^0.5, show that dy/dx=2x(5x+1)/((1+4x)^0.5)

If I have the equation of a curve, how do I find its stationary points?

y=4sin(kx) write down dy/dx.

Via the product rule, or otherwise, differentiate 'y = xsin(x)'.
