Explain the functional differences between a t-RNA and an m-RNA molecule

A tRNA molecule is one which carries an amino-acid and takes it to ribosomes to be inserted into an amino-acid sequence making a protein during the translation step of protein synthesis. An mRNA molecule is one which is made during the step of transcription and essentially contains the 3 codons which code for an amino acid. It resembles the whole sequence to make a protein and is essentially instructions from the DNA gene sequence on how to make a peptide chain.
