Solve the equation x2-7x=-10

Step 1: Rearrange equation to form x2 + bx + c= 0  -Add 10 to both sides of equation: x2-7x +10=0 Step 2: Factorise the quadratic equation -Find two numbers which add to make -7 and multiply to make 10: -5 and -2(X-5)(x-2)=0Step 3: Solve factors -When brackets multiplied together answer is 0 which means x-5=0 or x-2=0-so x-5 or x=2
