### How do you use the pythagoras equation?

Used for right angled triangles where c is the hypothenuse and a and b are the two other sides.

Equation: a+ b= c2

Label the sides of the triangle before starting.

To find the length of c you do the root of a+ b2.

To find the length of either for example b, you rearrange the equation and find the root of c2 - a2.
