How do you find the turning point of a parabola using its equation? using its equation?

First, you have to differentiate the equation to find the first derivative. Once you do this, you then set the derivative to equal zero and find the corresponding x value. This number is the x-value of the curve's turning point. Once you have your x value you can put it into the main equation and find the y value of the turning point
