how do i write an A-level history essay?

History is obviously a lot to with learning facts, but it is so crucial that you know that it isn't all about facts. It is about being able to build a convincing argument and using facts to back up your points. If you just spill all the facts you know unto paper, it becomes more a story, than an argument. So my advice would be plan! Make a plan saying the arguments on either side of the question. Then, insert evidence into those arguments to beef them up even more.Also, as basic as it sounds, reading the question is super important and ensuring you stay on topic throughout your essat
