How do you calculate the specific heat capacity of a substance?

c = EmΔt. With E being the thermal energy during the transfer, m being the mass of the substance, and Δt being the change in temperature.Usually they'll hide one of the values E, m or Δt in a different equation such as E=ml or another specific heat capacity calculation.
