Expand and simplify (3x-1)(2x+1)(5-x)

First you need to expand and simplify two of the brackets, say (3x-1)(2x+1). There's 2 elements in the first bracket and 2 elements in the second, so you should end up with 22=4 elements in the expansion before simplifying. The expanded answer should be 6x2+3x-2x-1, which can be worked out through a grid method or the FOIL method. Next you simplify this by collecting like terms to get 6x2+x-1. Now you need to multiply this by the remaining bracket, meaning working out (6x^2+x-1)(5-x). There are 3 elements in the first bracket and 2 in the second, meaning you should get 32=6 elements in the expansion before simplifying. Again you can use a grid method to work this out, giving 30x2-6x3+5x-x2-5+x. When simplified by collecting like terms this gives the final answer of -6x3+29x2+6x-5
