Describe the tertiary structure of a polypeptide

Tertiary polypeptide structure is overall 3 dimensional shape of protein which forms as a result of amino acid R group interactions such as ionic salt interactions and disulphide bridges. These interactions cause proteins to bend into their lowest energy state for maximum stability.
