How do you solve simultaneous equations.

Step 1. Pick one of the equations and move all of the x values to one side of the equal and move all others to the other side e.g X = 2y + 3Step 2. Make sure the X value is not times by a number e.g 2X, if so divide both sides by that number so you are left with x = step 3. In the second equation replace any x values with what x is equal to in the first. From there you will be able to find the value of yStep 4. Plug your value of y into the first equation to find x
