What are the roots of (2x-5)(x-3) = 0

First off, roots means solve for x. 0 multiplied by any number equals 0, therefore, either one of the brackets must itself equal 0.We can solve this by firstly setting 2x-5 = 0, and solving for x. (+ 5) to both sides and (/ 2) to both sides, leaving x = 5/2Next, we set x-3 = 0.(+ 3) to both sides, leaving x = 3
