In the following passage (Aeneid 4.10-12) how does Vergil highlight Dido's admiration through her speech? Make two points, each referring to the Latin. (4)

In this passage, Vergil highlights Dido's admiration of Aeneas through her repeated questions & exclamations: 'Quis novus... quem sese ore ... quam forte' 'Who is this new man... with what bearing... How strong'. This gives the impression that she can't quite believe how impressive he is. Dido's admiration is also shown in the emphatic use of 'credo equidem ... genus esse deorum'. 'I truly believe, certainly not in vain, that he is born of the gods.' Vergil emphasises his heavenly origin by placing 'deorum' 'of the gods' at the end of the sentence, and the use of 'equidem' 'truly' to show Dido's earnest belief that he is so amazing he must be divine.
