How do you integrate a fraction when x is on the numerator and denominator?

Firstly, ensure both numerator and denominator are factorised fully so that any possible cancellations can happen - making it easy for yourself is always a good idea. Now, turn it into partial fractions. If the denominator is a quadratic, remember to put the fractions into the form: A + B/(x+a) + C/(x+b)Once done, give each fraction its own integral, ensuring to keep the same operations in front of each fraction. Now integrate them separately - the fractions will all integrate to ln as the numerator is a differential of the denominator multiplied by a constant. After this, add +c to the end and the problem is solved!

Solve the equation; 4 cos^2 (x) + 7 sin (x) – 7 = 0, giving all answers between 0° and 360°.

The points A and B have coordinates (3, 4) and (7, 6) respectively. The straight line l passes through A and is perpendicular to AB. Find an equation for l, giving your answer in the form ax + by + c = 0, where a, b and c are integers.

find f'(x) of (x^2) + 3x + 2.

Split the following expression into partial fractions of the form A/(x-3) + B/(4x+2) : (19x-15)/(4x+2)(x-3)
