75% of 60: 0.7560 = 45 , 48% of 100: 0.488100 = 48 , His total marks: 45+48 = 93 , Total marks available: 100+60 = 160 , His final percentage: 93/160 = 0.58125 0.58125*100 = 58% , Therefore, he does not pass because 58% is less than 60% pass mark.
