Solve the following quadratic equation for X: X^2 -10X + 24=0

We can factorise the quadratic equation by noting that two numbers which multiply to get 24 and that add to get -10 are: -6 and -4. Therefore, we get (X-6)(X-4)=0 and we can solve for X to get X = 6 or X = 4.
