Explain whether the boiling point of 1-bromopentane will be higher, lower or the same as that of 2-bromo-2-methylbutane. (3)

1-bromopentane has a higher boiling point than 2-bromo-2-methylbutane Both isomers have vanderwaahls forces and dipole dipole forces 1-bromopentane is a primary isomer whereas 2-bromo-2-methylbutane is a tertiary isomer meaning there is less surface area in contact between molecules hence lower intermolecular forces

0.1 M sodium hydroxide (strong base) is added to 25 ml of 0.1 M of ethanoic acid (weak acid) in a titration. What is the pH at equivalence?

Why in a strong acid and strong bases reaction, a drop of acid added would not change its PH dramatically but has a big drop near the equivalent point?

What happens to the equilibrium constant of an endothermic reaction, that is in equilibrium, when the temperature increases? What would the effect of increasing pressure have on the reaction and on the value of Kc?
