Explain the process of tissue fluid formation

At each point along the capillary bed, fluid movement is governed by 2 forcesHydrostatic pressureWater potentialAt the arteriole endBlood is under pressure -> high hydrostatic pressure forces fluid (plasma minus proteins) outThis is greater than the force driving water in from high to low water potential (blood has a lower water potential than tissue fluid)At the venule endHydrostatic pressure is greatly reduced as the capillary has dissipated the pressure gradientWater moves in down the water potential gradient
