How does blood flow through the heart?

Firstly, deoxygenated blood enters the top right chamber of the heart called the right atrium. It flows through to the chamber below, called the right ventricle. It then gets pumped to the lungs through the pulmonary artery where it picks up oxygen. Now the oxygenated blood flows back to the heart through the pulmonary vein. It enters the left atrium and then to the left ventricle. Finally, the blood leaves the heart through the aorta and is pumped to the rest of the body.
