Simplify fully (3x^2-8x-3)/(2x^2-6x)

Simply factorise both expressions and cancel out the common denominator until left with a fully simplified fraction.the top expression becomes (3x+1)(x-3) and the bottom becomes 2x(x-3). Therefore, (x-3) can be cancelled out in the numerator and denominator.answer = (3x+1)/2x

How do I find the roots and and coordinates of the vertex of the graph y = 2x^2 + 4x - 8 ?

The equation of the line L1 is y = 3x – 2. The equation of the line L2 is 3y – 9x + 5 = 0. Show that these two lines are parallel.
