Describe the different types of variable in a scientific experiment

Independent Variable - this is the variable which is being changed and manipulated by the scientist in order to test its impact on other variablesDependent Variable - this is the variable which is being measured by the scientist.Control Variables - these are the other variables which could impact the dependent variable but which are being controlled at a consistent level by the scientist in order to determine the true impact of the independent variable on the dependent variable.
