Name the 3 structures within a plant cell that are absent from an animal cell and describe the function of these 3 structures. (6 marks)

Plant cells contain chloroplasts (1), a cell wall (1) and a permanent vacuole (1). These structures are absent from animal cells. Chloroplasts contain chlorophyll which absorb light energy for photosynthesis/contain the enzymes needed for photosynthesis (1). The cell wall strengthens the cell, supporting the plant (1). The permanent vacuole contains cell sap which keeps the cell turgid (1).CAN ALSO BE WRITTEN IN A TABLE
