How can I find the correct list of solutions whilst solving a trigonometry equation?

If you are unsure of the number of solutions to an equation, it is always best to start with a diagram. By drawing a diagram then marking out the boundaries specified in the question, it is easy to visualise where there will be solutions to your equation and hence whether or not the answer you come up with 'works' in comparison to the graph. If you are unsure of whether the answer should be in degrees or radians, always read over the question again. If not directly stated in the question, there will be clues to the answer through other pieces of information such as the boundary of your solution (e.g. 0 < x < 2pi would indicate that the answer must be given in radians).
