How do I learn the gender of nouns?

A few tips: Nouns that end in -a, -ión, -d, -z tend to be FEMININE Nouns that end in -o, -e, accented vowels and consonants that are NOT -d, -z tend to be MASCULINE. Can you think of some examples of each one?
