Using your knowledge that tan(x) = sin(x) / cos(x) , how would you write 4/7tan(x)

Since tanx = sinx / cosx that means that the inverse of tan must = the inverse of sinx / cosx which is cosx / sinx . So we know that 1/tanx = cosx . Now all we have to do is apply the multiple 4/7 because 4/7 * 1/tanx = 4/7tanx
