How do i factorise 20 + 10x?

Firstly, we can take a look at the degree x's in each term. It seems like they share a common degree of 0. In other words, we will not be able to factor out the x's in the expression.Secondly, we need to find out if we can factor out a number out of the expression. Therefore we can identify that 10 is a common factor of both terms. So we will be able to factor out 10 from the expression to get 10(2 + x).
