Explain how electrons are arranged.

Electrons occupy energy levels/shells. Electrons occupy the lowest level (first one from the nucleus) first which can occupy a maximum of 2 electrons. After the first level, electrons fill up the other shells with a maximum of 8 electrons.

What is the difference between an endothermic and exothermic reaction?
