How do I graph linear inequalities?

You can use a simple three step method:
Rearrange the inequality to the format 'y = ....', with the relevant sign in the middle (≥, ≤, < or >).Plot the line 'y = ....' making it a solid line if the inequality contains an 'equal to' or a dashed line if it does not.Shade either above or below the line depending on whether the inequality asks for greater than (above) or less than (below). If you forget which side to shade, you can select a point on either side of the line then shade the area where the statement is true, inserting the coordinates of each point.
