How to write a good paragraph

Each paragraph should have a key point, which you should express at the beginning of your paragraph. Next you need to have evidence of this point, this is found through quotations in the text. You then need to analyse why this quotation is relevant to your point and how the quotation proves your initial point. It is useful to analyse key words in the quotation and explain why you think the writer chose to use them. Be sure to link back to the initial point at the end of your paragraph to ensure you are not going off on a tangent.
