Solve 5x - 7 = 3x + 2, to find the value of x

x = 4.5

Rearrange the equation, so that like terms are on the same side:

5x - 3x = 2 +7

2x = 9

Then to find x, divide 9 by 2

x = 4.5

How do I expand (3x + 6)(x + 2) ?

Solve y = x^2 + 3x + 2 = 0
