find the value of x for when f(x)=0. f(x)=9x^(2)-4

since f(x)=0 write

9x2-4=0

move the x's to one side and the numbers to the other.

so 9x2=4

then to get rid of the 9 divide both sides by 9

so x2=(4/9)

then square root

so x=sqrt(4/9) and simply by taking positive square roots of 4 and 9

so x=2/3
