find the value of x for when f(x)=0. f(x)=9x^(2)-4

since f(x)=0 write

9x2-4=0

move the x's to one side and the numbers to the other.

so 9x2=4

then to get rid of the 9 divide both sides by 9

so x2=(4/9)

then square root

so x=sqrt(4/9) and simply by taking positive square roots of 4 and 9

so x=2/3

A line L is parallel to y = 4x+5 and passes through the point (-1,6). Find the equation of the line L in the form y = ax+b.

Differentiate f(x)=(x+sin(2x))^4

Given that x = 4sin(2y + 6), Find dy/dx in terms of x

g(x) = ( x / (x+3) ) + ( 3(2x+1) / (x^2 + x - 6) ). Show that this can be simplified to: g(x) = (x+1) / (x-2).
