How can I revise for my English Literature exam?

Revising for an English exam can be daunting with so many different poems and texts to choose from! However, it can be useful to revise key themes and ideas across texts, rather than focus on learning every detail and quotation, as essay questions are often structured around themes. This means you can easily adapt your knowledge about specific texts to answer the question, and also makes intertextuality and comparison between texts easier.
