In genetics, what does co-dominance mean?

Dominant alleles need the presence of only one copy to achieve expression. Recessive alleles need two copies to achieve expression. In Co-Dominance, both alleles are expressed at the same time. <o:p></o:p>

The flower below has co-dominant alleles for red and white colouration.<o:p></o:p>
