Edexcel C1 2015 Q10. A curve with equation y = f (x) passes through the point (4, 9). Given that f′(x)=3x^(1/2)-9/(4x^(1/2))+2. Find f(x), giving each term in its simplest form.

I would go through a similar example of integration with the student using the whiteboard and would explain the use of integration, and would then get them to do the above question, giving them hints when needed

(19x - 2)/((5 - x)(1 + 6x)) can be expressed as A/(5-x) + B/(1+6x) where A and B are integers. Find A and B

how can differentiate using the product and chain rule? e.g y=(4x+1)^3(sin2x), find dy/dx.

Differentiate the function f(x) = sin(x)/(x^2 +1) , giving your answer in the form of a single fraction. Is x=0 a stationary point of this curve?

Integration by parts: Integrate the expression x.ln(x) between 1 and 2.
