The MyTutor Awards are back with a special edition for Winter. In December, we asked parents and students to nominate their tutors to win a special prize, with winners chosen by our judges.
Once again, it was a fantastic result! With so many amazing tutors nominated for their dedication and excellent tutoring it was a real pleasure to read through so many amazing stories.
But who are the final winners? Let’s take a look!
The winners of the winter MyTutor awards are:
Winners: Top private tutor awards
“My daughter has been working with Eelan S. of MyTutor in her Maths, Sciences and Languages. He has been a God-send.
She missed two years of active schooling on account of cancer and Eelan patiently and diligently supported her studying through the period of absence and her ongoing reintegration into school.
Eelan is considered, measured and just so patient. Her results speak for themselves. We are so grateful for his support and hard work with our daughter. He is an asset to MyTutor!”
“My daughter Grace started having lessons each week with Daneil 4 months ago in preparation for her GSCEs. Since then she has come on leaps and bounds in her analysis of English literature.
The confidence she felt going into her mock exam was wonderful to see and I knew then that every penny I had spent had been worth it.
Daneil is very patient and kind to Grace and has had a huge impact in helping Grace’s mindset towards English. Her school teachers have also commented on this.”
“My son really hated Maths and was placed in the bottom set (4). We were very worried with GCSEs looming but he was extremely reluctant to try tuition.
Thanks to My Tutor he was paired with Nathan, a young man who is more on his wavelength than his teachers. He is engaged during the sessions and tells me he learns more in an hour with Nathan than a week of lessons at school.
This year (after only a term of fortnightly tutoring) he moved up to set 2 and doesn’t hate Maths quite so much! Thanks Nathan and My Tutor!”
“Alicia has been an absolutely wonderful maths tutor for my daughter in year 8. She is incredibly patient, thorough, and understanding, which has had a significant impact on my daughter’s confidence in the subject.
Her lesson reports are always detailed and well-structured, providing all the right information needed to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Alicia listens carefully to her students and ensures the learning experience is positive and tailored to their needs.
What truly sets Alicia apart is how much she genuinely cares for her students. She offers thoughtful support and guidance, making her both an effective and approachable tutor. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”
