Solve X^2 - 10X + 18=0

This is solving a quadratic equation. There are two ways we can solve this. Using the quadratic equation or completing the square. 1. Quadratic equation-The equation is in the form ax^2 + bx + c. Where a=1 b=-10 c=18 Then by susbtituting these values into the quadratic equation you get 2.35 and 5.29 2. Completing the square Begin by creating (x-5)^2-25+18=0 therefore ((x-5)^2) -7=0 x-5=+/- 7^0.5 x=+/-(7^0.5) +5
