Find the 12th term and the sum of the first 9 terms on the following Arithmetic Progression: a = 2 and d = 3

12th term = a + (12 - 1)*d = 2 + 11(3) = 35

Sum (9) = 9/2 [2(2) + (9 - 1)*3] = 9/2 [28] = 252/2 = 126

Chris claims that, “for any given value of x , the gradient of the curve y=2x^3 +6x^2 - 12x +3 is always greater than the gradient of the curve y=1+60x−6x^2” . Show that Chris is wrong by finding all the values of x for which his claim is not true.

Find dy/dx of the equation y=x^2 ln⁡(2x^2+1).

Integrate e^x sinx

Express 2 cos x – sin x in the form Rcos( x + a ), where R and a are constants, R > 0 and a is between 0 and 90 ° Give the exact value of R and give the value of to 2 decimal places.
