Find W where: 11-W/4 = 1+W

11-W/4 = 1+W

11-W = 4+4W      (Multiply both sides by 4)

11 = 4+5W          (Add W to both sides)

7 = 5W                ( Subtract 4 from both sides)

W = 7/5               (Divide both sides by 5 to get your final answer)
