how do i convert from a sine angle to a cosine angle?

the phase difference between sine and cosine graphs is pi/2. so when the sine function is applied to an angle, to get the corresponding answer but from a cosine function you simply add pi/2 (Radians only, for degrees add 90 degrees to your angle)
